Fundamentals of Rigging

This program will provide students with the fundamental knowledge and practical skills of lifting with the aid of overhead cranes to enable them to perform lifting operations safely. This program is best suited for operators who perform repetitive lifts with minimal rigging required. In the province of Nova Scotia this program is suitable for cranes with capacities under 10 Ton.

The program is a combination of theory and practical training. Students are evaluated by means of a written test and a practical evaluation. Upon successful completion of the program, a certificate will be issued.
